The founding purchase is the Personal plan, bought once. Not Pro, and not everything Luz will ever build. Everything in Free, plus:

- AI stays off until you turn it on, then 10 messages a month
No AI reports, no AI-written summaries, nothing sent to an AI provider on its own. Turning AI chat on is yours to do.

I build Luz on my own. Servers, storage and AI tokens are real costs, and subscriptions are how they get paid month to month. A hundred people paying once covers a good part of that up front, which is worth more to a one-person project than the same money spread thin over years.
2% of everything goes to climbing access and conservation, every month, as it has from the start. That does not change here.
Paying once funds it directly. One day I'd like Luz to pay for my full attention, and a hundred of these gets that closer than anything else.

A hundred people is few enough that I read everything myself. If something you need is missing, or something works in a way that annoys you, say so. I cannot promise to build all of it, but I will read it and reply.

The small print
What you are actually buying.
- One payment, not a subscription.
- You are charged once. There is nothing to renew and nothing to cancel.
- Personal, not Pro.
- Pro adds unlimited AI chat, AI reports and 500GB of storage, and it stays a subscription. If you want Pro later, email me before you subscribe. You will not pay full price for it. There is no discount code; I do it manually.
- Bought on the web.
- The founding purchase happens on the website. It is not in the App Store or on Google Play, and the phone apps do not offer it.
- 250GB of media.
- That is the cap, and it is the same cap Personal has on a subscription. Photos and video are processed on every plan; Personal buys higher quality and keeps 4K.
- Covers the lifetime of the product.
- For as long as Luz exists, this is your Personal plan. I am not going to promise you a number of years I cannot honour.
